Cloister Memory
Hosted memory for coding agents and the teams behind them.
A cloud-native memory service that gives coding agents durable context — decisions, conventions and project history — shared across sessions, tools, teammates and agent fleets.
Coding agents forget everything between sessions. Cloister Memory keeps what matters — why a decision was made, how your codebase is meant to be used, what was tried and abandoned — and hands it back to whichever agent picks up the work next.
It is a hosted service, so there is nothing to install or operate. Every agent and every teammate connects to the same memory over MCP, whether it is one developer switching tools or a fleet of agents working in parallel.
Key capabilities
Connects over MCP
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other MCP-capable agents connect to the same hosted memory to read from and write to it.
Shared across sessions, tools and teammates
Context captured in one session, by one tool or one person is there for the next, across the whole team.
Built for teams and AgentGrid
Designed for fleets of agents working in parallel, and integrates with AgentGrid so agents coordinated through it draw on the same project memory.
Fast by design
Built for quick recall, so pulling in context doesn't slow your agents down.
Secure by design
Designed so each organization and team is isolated, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is scoped to the people and agents you allow.
Retention you control
PlannedDecide what's stored and for how long, delete memory on request, and manage it all from a dashboard here on cloister.io.
Status
Cloister Memory is in active development. Early access will open to a small group of teams first, with broader availability to follow.
